Question ASMedia USB3.1 eXtensible Host Controller not compatible with Rift S?

I just got a response to my Oculus support ticket, and they've said that my "ASMedia USB3.1 eXtensible Host Controller (is) known to have problems with the Oculus Rift S setup". I'm a bit perplexed as I went out and bought a USB hub at their recommendation and now they're saying that it's not compatible.

If anyone out there had a similar issue and has a fix, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The usbs on both the card I bought and the motherboard were apparently incompatible with the rift s.

I found a usb 3.0 card and put that in. That fixed my issue.
