asp.net user account?

I just got done backing up and getting rid of a windows user account and decided to create a new one to replace it. While there I noticed an account under the following name "ASP.NET MACHINE". Looked around online and found this http://www.asp.net/

I did not create that windows user account, therefore I decided to get rid of it. Went through the motions, was told that I couldn't delete an account that was currently logged on and then the account vanished. As far as I know it wasn't deleted. It simply went away. Had a look under the users folder and there is no such account.

Does anyone know of any viruses or any other issues related to this?

That account is created automatically when you install some early versions of .NET Framework from Microsoft.
A service pack update of .NET Framework was later released to remove that account and to fix other issues.
