ASPI32 Error

Lately I keep getting this error: The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
ASPI32
NVStrap
SASDIFSV

\SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\ASPI32.SYS has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.

I have no idea what's causing this, but I suspect that this is why my system has been hanging on boot lately. Here are my specs if it helps:

You installed a program that included this ASPI32.SYS file.
If you can remember when this error started, recommend you use the System Restore to a date prior to when the error started.

System restore isn't going to work for this error. Windows 7 installed it when it detected my Plextor dvd burner.
