Aspire V3 - Upgradable?

Solution
Laptop upgradeability is usually quite limited. Laptops are also considerably more difficult to open and operate on than desktops due to the density of the components.

In the case of the Aspire V3 772g I believe the GPU is built in to the motherboard, so no, it won't be upgradeable (I could be wrong on this but that's what my research indicates). If you want a laptop that will have an 'MXM' slot for upgradeable graphics hardware you should look at laptops specifically aimed at gamers, rather than the Acer brand in general who tend to target office/business users who may want to game on the side.

It's also often more cost effective to tolerate a laptop's built-in graphics hardware until you're ready for a whole new laptop, once again...
