Asrock 770 Extreme3 AM3 to AM3+ Success

I haven't seen anywhere in the discussions/forum regarding success or failure in upgrading this AM3 motherboard to AM3+ using Asrock's beta bios.

Well, it worked perfectly for me. I upgraded to a FX6300 6 core AM3+ with absolutely no issues.

This revitalizes this motherboard for continued use.

How did you get the extra pin on the FX-6300 CPU into the AM3 socket? Or did that board come with a AM3+ socket in its later renditions?
