I have a 785G based Asrock motherboard.
Currently, I'm using an HD2400XT video card in Hybrid Crossfire.
I'd like to upgrade to an HD3400 series card, but my manual only mentions support for the HD3450.
Can I use an HD3470 in Hybrid Crossfire as well?

According to this, all HD 3400 series cards should work.
http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/ATICrossFire_comp_req.aspx

"Hybrid ATI CrossFire™ Platform(Onboard GPU + 1 discrete GPU) Requirements:

The requirements of a ATI Hybrid CrossFire system are:
ATI Radeon™ HD 2400 Series, ATI Radeon™ HD 3400 Series or ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3400 Series graphics processor
ATI Radeon™ HD 2400 supports only ATI Hybrid CrossFireX™ technology and ATI SurroundView™ technology.
A motherboard based on an AMD 780G or AMD 790GX integrated chipset
Windows Vista®"

Thanks.
That was kind of what I thought, but Asrock's documentation only mentions the HD2400 and the HD3450.
The results with the 2400XT have been surprisingly good, but I was wasn't sure an HD3450 would offer enough improvement to justify the effort.

A 3470 should prove to be a better option.

Edit: I just checked out the specs. The HD3450 has LOWER clock speeds and fillrates when compared to the HD2400XT.

I'm going with an HD3570. That GPU is clocked higher than the HD2400XT and has better fillrates.

Thanks for the input.

Yes, 3470.
BTW - The card arrived and after instillation uit would appear that crossfire is disabled.
So, I guess, it only works with the 3450.
