the title says it all. I know the motherboard supports up to 16 GB, but how much per slot? thank you very much

It will be 16Gb across all the slots, so do the math

There is no info on max per slot on their site. 16GB is probably just the max addressable by the chipset. So, 2x8GB or 4x4GB should work.

I hope it's the right answer because I have my eye on 2x8 hyperx savage.

Whenever a board list a max RAM limit, it is across all the slots.

Unless that's been changed lately ....

i checked on Crucial's website and found out that every 16gb pair is not compatible with my MB model so there's the answer.
