Asrock 880GM-LE FX with Fx-6300

Hello. I am planning to build a budget amd based gaming pc. I am thinking of getting 880GM-LE FX mobo to work with an Fx-6300 proc. Are these two a good pair? My gpu is an HD7770. I searched alot on the forums and found different answers. Some said it wont work, and some said it does. I'm a little confused since I am not so good with these kinds of stuffs.

So someone said it is not compatible with the fx6300 because you/we don't know the MB has the P1.30 version BIOS or not? And if the MB has the P1.30 version BIOS then it will work.

And you want to be sure the fx6300 will work with the MB, then you are better to buy the new version chipset MB, like the 970 chipset MB.

Your link seems to show a different mobo. I think this is the one http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/880GM-LE%20FX/. But how will I know if it has the P1.30 BIOS or not? What if it has another version? Is there any way I could run it if it does not have a P1.30 like upgradeing the BIOS or something like that?

Sorry the link because I did research something at that time, and ended up the wrong one.

You can't know which version BIOS until you have the MB, and here is how to check the BIOS version. http://www.wikihow.com/Check-BIOS-Version Your MB needs at least the P1.30 to run the fx6300.
