Heyaa,

Yesterday, I noticed how my computer kept hanging crazy because of amount of programs I was running which it didn't happen before. Then I noticed in Task Manager that my RAM has AVAILABLE of 4 GB. But I have 8 GB of RAM installed (2x4GB). Started to look through forums and scratching my head what the hell happened, there was suggestion that I should go in msconfig>boot>advanced options and uncheck Maximum memory which was already unchecked. Going in BIOS I saw that my RAM was running in single channel mode for no reason. Going through forums again suggested that I should do CMOS - after doing it and going BIOS it showed that RAM is now running on DUAL Channel mode and going in Task Manager showed that 8 GB are available. Then after few hours of using it my computer suddenly restarted and going again in Task Manager that AVAILABLE RAM is 4 GB. Restarting again and going in to BIOS showed me up again that my RAM is running on single channel mode (-_-).

Please HELP!

Specs:
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3
Processor: AMD Phenom X6 1100T 3.3 Ghz
Video Card: MSI GTX 770 Lightning 2GB
RAM: Crucial BallastiX Tactical 2x4GB

Hey,

Sorry for late answer. I was away for a week. Anyway.

Rasing DRAM, CPU and NB Voltage didn't help. ASrock BIOS only would let me raise it by 0.15.

DRAM Model - BLT2CP4G3D1608DT1TX0CEU
PSU - OCZ ZX 850 W Plus Gold

And what do you mean by what the CPU is running at?

Well, I have already tried 1333 and 9-9-9-27 but still singe channel mode. Should I try to OC my CPU then?

I have approximately the same OS win 10 (on 450/450 120gb SSD), RAM (4+4 dual channel crucial ballistix tactical 1866MHz)and Motherboard ( 990FXExtreeme3). Cpu is amd FX8350 and graphics card is Gigabyte r7 260x winforce GDDR5. I don´t remember my PSU presice name, all i know it is Hyper 610W. .After i changed my OS from 7 to 10 (upgraded), my ram clock rose up a level to 2133MHz. I know hardware should not support this but it is. You prloblem is behind CPU. If it were behind PSU it would choke the CPU and graphics as well, missa thinks =).
