ASRock A-Tuning Will Not Install

I get an error message when trying to install A-Tuning:

"Driver cannot be loaded, re-install the program may fix the issue, if it happens again, report the problem with your system configuration as detail (sic) as possible", and,

Error 0xFFFE "This utility is not for this platform!"

I've tried different compatibilities and Run As Administrator to no avail.

Running Win8.1 Pro x64 on an ASRock X99 Extreme4 mobo.

We tested this symptom with X99 Extreme4 and Windows 8.1 64-bit.
It is able to install A-Tuning(2.0.179) from our website and support CD.

However, we provide few steps for you to verify.
1.Please remove the A-Tuning from "Programs and Features" and restart the system.
2.Please refer below link to download and install A-Tuning(2.0.179) for try. http://
3.Please check whether your model is X99 Extreme4. If not, please refer below link to download suitable A-Tuning for try. http://

If the symptom still exist, please provide the snap shot of the error manager, A-Tuning version and BIOS main screen to us for further checking.

I have done all these thing with no success. It's definitely an X99 Extreme4, I'm the guy who built it. Attempted A-Tuning v.2.0.179, I get this error:

We tried many ways to duplicate this symptom with the same configurations you gave us. But still cannot duplicate the symptom of A-Tuning cannot be installed.
After our software RD check, this symptom may relate to
few remain files of A-Tuning.

I have gone through my files and eliminated every trace, including the service(s), and attempted to reinstall but I still get the same errors. It's as baffling to me as I'm sure it is to you.

Thanks for your reply.

We re-tried to duplicate this symptom on X99 Extreme4 with A-Tuning(2.0.179), but the A-Tuning is still able to be installed normally.
If possible, please test this symptom with clean OS to verify if this issue may be caused by some remains files/programs.
If the symptom still exist, please provide a snap shot of the error massage to us for further checking.
