Asrock AMD MB PCIE2 or PCIE3 for VGA

I had my NVIDIA GeForce TGX 1060 6GB mounted in PCIE2, had problems with Kodi 17.6 and PlayOn, they would open for max 5 seconds and then disappear. Now mounted in PCIE3 slot no issues?. Why is PCIE3 working and 2 not? Any changes to be made in BIOS switch PCIE??

Did you make sure it was seated correctly in the first slot you tried? (the one closer to the CPU) on the board. you could try it again and see what happens.

Should make no difference BUT why? Why are you putting the graphics card in the bottom most slot? Some motherboard would not like a video card being in that slot and none in primary and secondary slot.
