asrock b250m pro4 cpu temperature

Intel g4560+asroc b250m pro4. DeepCool Gamma Archer for cooling. BIOS shows 47-48 C idle. HWmpnitor, speedfan etc. and they showed 27-40. In HWmonitor "t" is jumping from 30 to 40 constantly. Which of them is liying?)

HWinfo is accurate I would with it and the BIOS temps.

my i5-7500 with stock cooler and 3 case fans hits 32 max in BIOS, so I would say yours is slightly high.

I doubt it's lying. If there is one thing you dont shrug off it's temps. what is your case setup?

oh and did you pull the sticker off of the coolers bottom before you applied paste and installed it?

Probably not lying BIOS is usually the most accurate. Are you sure the cooler is mounted correctly and what is your ambient temp range?

Old case, everything is cooling fine(2x120 in, 2x120 out), even phenom ii x4 965be worked at 52 max, but under zalman cnps5x. Gamma archer is mounted correctly, checked it earlier =)

do you happen to still have the stock cooler? maybe you could install that just to see what happens?

Saw some posts saying that in OS cpu temps are under power saving options and that's why in BIOS they are higher. If it's so - the problem solved.
