hey guys ,im a newbie trying to build my first pc
i want to get Samsung SSD 960 EVO M.2 PCIe NVMe 250 Go for asrock b360 pro4 but i dont know if its compatible cuz i read in thier website :
Storage : - 6 x SATA3 6.0 Gb/s Connectors, support NCQ, AHCI and Hot Plug*
- 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s)**
- 1 x M.2 Socket (M2_2), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280/22110 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x2 (16 Gb/s)**

* If M2_1 is occupied by a SATA-type M.2 device, SATA3_5 will be disabled.
If M2_2 is occupied by a SATA-type M.2 device, SATA3_1 will be disabled.
If M2_2 is occupied by a PCIe-type M.2 device, SATA3_0 will be disabled.

**Supports Intel® Optane™ Technology (M2_1 only)
Supports NVMe SSD as boot disks
Supports ASRock U.2 Kit
"Supports NVMe SSD as boot disks" so i can get games and system on it or only system or wont work at all ... thank you .

oh thank you for your answer and one question what they means about "Supports NVMe SSD as boot disks" ?

Older systems could only have NVME drives as storage drives, you couldn't boot from them, as in install windows to them and have it actually startup windows when you powered up the pc. They were only secondary drives, great for when you wanted to launch games/programs a little faster.
