Can I update directly from version 3.70 to 10.10, or do I need to install intermediate updates? Could you please help me?

I am using a Ryzen 5 1600, and I will be upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600

id advise updating all drivers to the board before doing any bios update

you must have the ryzen 5 5600 in your possession updating before hand will cause the pc not to respond. because once youve updated it with the ryzen 5 1600 installed when the pc goes to reboot after a bios update it wont see the ryzen 1600 anymore so it wont post. so only update if you have the ryzen 5 5600.

i would go into stages of 3.70 to 4.10. then install the ryzen 5 5600 then install the bios to 10.10

just make sure all drivers are up to date. before the bios update

this one being the most important
AMD chipset driver ver:3.10.22.706

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Can I update directly from version 3.70 to 10.10
No.

do I need to install intermediate updates?
Yes.

IMHO, I wouldn't drop in a Ryzen 5000 series processor onto your current motherboard due to the lack of a proper VRM design area, let alone a heatsink atop of those VRM's. Ryzen 3000 and above tends to draw more power than the 1000 and 2000 series processors.

If you still want to take the gamble, make sure you're on the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard, courtesy of AMD's support site. Then flash the BIOS to version 4.10 then to 4.80 then to 4.90. After every BIOS update, make sure you've cleared the CMOS for good measure. If you want you can then go to 10.31 but as stated in my prior paragraph, that board with a lackluster RM design isn't something I'd pair a Ryzen 5000 series processor with.

Before I received the answers, I upgraded to version 4.10 while using the Ryzen 5 1600. Now, should I update directly to version 10.10 after installing the Ryzen 5 5600? I was curious and asked ChatGPT, and it suggested that I go in sequence from 4.10 > 4.50 > 7.00 > 10.10. Which one should I choose?

yes you should stagger them and id put the ryzen 5600 in but i would suggest getting a cooler that blows cool air over the vrms like this this cooler below

this is just because as

Lutfij pointed out the vrm is quite poor there is zero heatsinks over the mosfets which will run hot.

Additionally, I was using the stock cooler, but now I have bought a different cooler. However, I'm not sure if my PSU will be enough. I'm using a High Power 500W 80+ Bronze PSU. I have a Sapphire RX5500 XT 8GB graphics card, and I plan to upgrade to an RX 6700 XT and increase the PSU to 650W in the future. Do you think this will work?

high power psu are hit and miss on the low end i would never trust them. its hard to tell as many high power psus are made by diffrent brands.

if the rails are split if it says on the side of the psu 12v 1 and 12v 2 = 450w or 500w its absolutely no. run at own risk.

650w gold psu i would aim for.

seasonic focus

MSI MAG A650GL 650 W 80+ Gold

ADATA XPG Core Reactor II 650 W 80+ Gold

scraping the barrel i would bare minimum

MSI MAG A650BE 650 W 80+ Bronze

consult the manufacturers website for the card model before hand to make sure 650w is requirement some cards may vary.
