Hi, I am very new to pc building. For mobo, i bought ASRock B450M Pro 4, and for storage I chose the M.2. SSD SATA3 by Western Digital P/N WDS240G2G0B.

Later, I look up the ASRock website and the closest P/N that the mobo supports is WDS240G1G0B-00RC30.

Is WDS240G2G0B still compatible with ASRock B450M Pro 4?

I haven't actually build the PC since the parts are slowly arriving. Should I strictly use the storage module as per ASRock list?

Thanks.

Thanks CountMike for the response. The WD SSD that I chose I think it should be fine since the form factor is M.2 2280. Wondering how long it would take ASRock to update the latest PN on their site.
