[SOLVED] ASrock b450m won't support default XMP at DDR4 3200 mhz @ 1.35 volts

(8gb per stick, two sticks.)

Essentially every time I try to boot with the XMP setting of 3200mhz @1,35 volts, when I try to play a game or even have my computer on for some time it shuts down. When setting the XMP, the 1.35 volts turns red. I left it at 2133 and stopped caring until now.

Your motherboard does support the higher voltages. The red is just a warning that you've gone higher than standard voltage for DDR4. As CountMike said to reach the speeds above 2133 the ram is going to require the higher voltage. It's all been tested by the manufacturers. A Ryzen 2600 has no guarantee to reach 3200(although most can). It's officially supported to 2933. You should go back into the bios and try enabling Xmp (or DOCP) at the 1.35 and then drop the frequency down to 2933 or 3000 and see if it behaves better. If you want to see if you can get the 3200 to run, sometimes a small bump up on the Vsoc voltage will bring a weak memory controller in line. Maybe between 1.05v -1.1v

Practically any DDR4 at frequency above base requires 1.3-1.35v.
