Question ASRock B550M-C Five Beeps then Single Beep Meaning

Hello everyone,

I could use some help. I am trying to solve an issue with my ASROCK B550M-C where, upon receiving power, the motherboard error light come on, VGA first and then the BOOT. I get five beeps. After I installed my WD Black SSD, the beep code is now beeps, pause, one beep. My CPU is a Ryzen 5 5500. GPU is a GTX970.

I tried flashing my BIOS using a Raspberry PI, and that was successful. It should not be a BIOS version error now.

At a lost, have researched this issue a bit to no luck, can't get a post out of the GPU. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

You're hearing 5 short beeps or is a combo of short and long beeps?

Do you have access to any other GPU to test with?

I do not, but it was working when I pulled it from my intel build.

My apologies for missing this. Here are my specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5500 - used
CPU cooler: AMD Cooler that ships with Processor
Motherboard: ASRock B550M-C
Ram: Have Corsair Pro 16gb sticks, but am testing with SK Hynix 4gb (both give the error)
SSD/HDD: WD Black 770 1TB new
GPU: GTX 970 - works I pulled it from my intel build
PSU: Aresgame AGV Series 750W new
Chassis: Montech Air A100 RGB
OS: Windows 11
Monitor: Samsung, forget exact model but have tested.

I hear five short beeps, a pause, and then one beep.

Could be a failed CPU.
