Question ASRock B550M steel legend - RGB Issues

I’m having rgb issues. Specifically with my dram, Crucial Ballistix RGB. My motherboard is an ASRock B550m Steel Legend. I cannot change the RAMs RGB profile off of the stock configuration.

I have the latest bios, latest drivers, reset cmos, used each software on its own (no other rgb software installed at the time), I’ve done a fresh install of windows, & I’ve tried to run the flash rgb module cmd prompt but my pc says windows cannot run this application. I’ve spent probably 8+ hours troubleshooting this issue & cannot find any solution. Any advice?

Try installing and using ASRock Polychrome RGB ver:2.0.62.

I’ve uninstalled & installed multiple times. I’ve even tried the 2.0.80 beta version. The software detects the sticks but doesn’t change the leds.

Did you try the RGB software from Crucial ?

Yes I’ve tried Crucials MOD software & OpenRGB. Open RGB didn’t detect the motherboard or the ram. Only my mouse.

Sadly the only other thing I can recommend is that you search the Asrock forum and see if anyone else with your MB and RAM found a solution.
Possibly, earlier versions of Polychrome ?
On my Asus MB's some newer versions of Aura (Asus RGB software) don't work properly BUT older versions do.
