Asrock B75M-GL R2.0 boot loop

Hi I have Asrock B75M-GL R2.0 as a os installed windows server 2012 r2 essentials uefi installed. I turned on the server this morning and the board went into bootloop mode, I plugged it into a monitor cos it runs headless and when I turned it on again everything started but a black screen remains, took out my ram and replaced it to see if there is the problem and nothing I then took out the bios battery to reset it and after that everything worked fine . anyone has a idea what could have cozed the behavior ?

Either a setting you changed in the BIOS caused the boot loop, or removing and reinserting the battery was just a coincidental fix.

I haven't touched any bios settings since I did the build and installed os about 2 months ago, so I do not see why this happened. I notest the first time I start a asrock board or reset the bios the boards bootloop for a few seconds, I may be thinking It could be the asrock boards have these bootlooping problems, the Asus board I have never bootlooped for any reason
