I bought a used asrock challenger rx 6600 last December, was fine for the first few months, and the suddenly in June I was downloading a game and suddenly the screen turns off, when I moved the mouse or used the keyboard the screen didn't turn back on but the cpu fan and case fan were on. I turned off the psu and unplugged it and the next day it was turning on again but I had to reinstall the driver, this repeated until eventually it didn't want to turn on anymore in August. I brought it to a service shop, then it was fine but I had to change the thermal pads and thermal paste, but just a few days ago it started doing the weird stuff again suddenly turning off when browsing and had to leave for 1 day. I don't know if the psu is the problem or the gpu itself.

Specs:
Intel i9 9900t (the ebay ES one)
32 gb ddr4 2666
Rx 6600
500w psu (isn't 80+ but works fine)

Sorry if my English was bad

a 500w PSU that isn't 80+ is a big red flag. what is the exact make and model?
It's a zalman dual forward power supply ZM500-LX, it's a random psu that my dad didn't use

i recommend i few things:
1. do a full offline windows deffender scan.
2. check if is the a restore point that is available.
