Hello,
Asrock extreme 4 gen 3 won't boot with my gtx 670 plugged in. I keep getting error b2. I tried moving around the ram, still the same. I plugged in my gtx 560 and it worked though. I also booted on the in the integrated vga and could see that the gtx 670 was shown in device manager without any errors. I'm confused. If the card was dead why does it still show in device manager?

some of the z77 and newer chipset had a issue with some of the high end nvidia video cards. (post issues). make sure your mb has the newest bios. boot using the onboard video and on the first page of the bios page is the bios rev info. go to the mb vendor web page and download the newest bios and use the mb bios updater to update the bios.

I already have updated the bios to the latest one. It is also a Z68 board. When i boot using integrated HD Graphics, with the 670 in there's no problem. I even check device manager and it shows up without any problems. However, when i enter bios and change graphics from on board to pci-e i always get error b2.

I encountered this "B2" error with my ASUS gtx 770, it turned out for me at least it was the Video Cards BIOS. Put it in my friends computer and it booted fine. Downloaded the Latest BIOS from ASUS and updated the card, put it in my machine and it booted on the first try xDD
