I cant get USB 2.0 working (4 rear 4 front) or SATA 3 (2 Ports)
In Device Manager there are 2 unknowns when right click 'Update driver'
Message reads 'drivers found but was an error installing' or thereabouts
In device manager there are 2 unknowns which if trying to update drivers
Then error:-
"Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it."
"The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor."

Turns out to be:-
Intel 6 series/C200 series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1C26
Intel 6 series/C200 series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1C2D
I am guessing they are USB 2

This is right after reboot black screen white text

Edit Windows boot options for: Microsoft Windows

Path: \windows\system32\winload.exe

Partition: 2
Hard Disk: 53c53d8d

[ /NO EXECUTE=OPTIN /NUMPROC=8 /USELEGACYAPICMODE D
]
Then I have to hit <enter>
I only have USB 3 no 2.0 no SATA3
Before windows fires up I have all USB's and SATA's
Asrock has Asmedia driver for USB 3 Windows 10
I have to do a complete restore to get just USB 3 back and use a hub.
I cant go on using PC with remote desktop

Thank you for the link Nuwan but I have all of those.
There isnt a hardware problem as far as I can see. All ports work work physically before windows.
USB 2 with a corded keyb shows the numlock light but detects nothing.

The explanation marks are those in Other. Which turn out to be USB ones which are found but errors as I said about an entry in the INF. Its got me baffled coz they work fine in UEFI set up ALL of them SATA3 and USB2 and USB3
