First time PC builder, after doing a good bit of research I bought all the pieces I need to build a gaming pc.
i5 3570k, asrock extreme 4 mobo, ect. I seem to be having a similar issue as http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/331203-30-asrock-extreme4-memory-problems
The initial boot shows 20 as the error, then proceeds to error 53.
For RAM I bought
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231455
This model isn't directly on the supported list but according to G.SKILL it is compatible http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=355
I've also heard other people saying that the RAM is supported and the motherboard commonly has faulty RAM slots.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? What did the problem end up being, the RAM or the MOBO? And how would you all recommend I proceed, should I return the board and hope the RAM works?
