First off, let me begin by thanking all of you wonderful people of the Tom's Hardware community. I've spent the better part of the last month or so reading the forums and reviews done on this site and it has helped me a lot in choosing my components.

I was originally planning on building a mid-high end gaming rig in the Asrock m8 case, which is a barebones system. After seeing how small the 70mm fans actually are, and reading some reviews on heat issues/the fans sounding similar to a vacuum cleaner, I opted to stay away from the case. I'm now planning on building the same(ish) system in a Silverstone Ft05 chassis, but haven't researched motherboards much because I was originally looking at barebone systems.

This is my current order list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NPLtrH

I am aware that it says the components are conflicting, and that is because of the Noctua CPU cooler. The cooler alone will fit in the case with 3mm clearance from the side panel, I do not plan on using the included fans with the radiator as the case already provides excellent airflow, but will most likely mount one fan on the top of the case above the radiator. Alternatively, I may get the NH-D14 as I would be able to use the included fans with the radiator.

Currently, I am looking at the Asrock Extreme 6 and Extreme 6/ac motherboards because of their x4 m.2 slots, I would love to add something like the Samsung xp941 to the system eventually. I am particularly curious if the ac version simply has a PCIe wireless ac card installed, maybe similar to this card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833106251&cm_re=intel_wireless_ac_bluetooth-_-33-106-251-_-Product
The Extreme 6 currently has a $20 MIR, bringing the price on Newegg down to $120, whereas the ac version is selling for $190. If the wireless card is the only difference, I will definitely be buying it as that's an amazing deal.

I'm also open to other z97 motherboard options, but haven't done as much research on them so feel free to recommend other motherboards.

Here's one for you mate:

'Refined' a bit with Pricing, and swapped a few components for cheaper ones, that perform the same.

But the big one is the Motherboard, And I've stuck in a Asus Maximus VII Hero. It's a great Overclocking and Gaming board, and fits the colour scheme. But If you want wifi, The ASrock Extreme AC is the way to go.

Solution
Thanks for the input mac266 :)
I ended up going with the Asrock Extreme 6 non-AC version. The price was great and as far as I've seen it's the only x4 m.2 PCIe compatible z97 board. Oh and just so you know, I wasn't paying the prices listed on part picker. I found some great Black Friday deals paired with the MIR, so i ended up paying nothing near the price listed.
