Asrock Fatality B350 Gaming k4 Clock confusion

So...first build in 5-6 yrs...everything posted and booted great. I am a bit confused about the core clocks on a ryzen 5 1600 before I start and setting changing. Bios ( updated to latest) reports everything at 3200mhz etc. CPUZ and Ryzen master both report it running at 3400. So I am a bit baffled...are these 2 programs not accurate or is this norm?

they are both right.
in the BIOS the CPU is running at stock 3.2
in windows if the load allows cores are put to sleep and the speeds on the awake cores are increased. hence 3.4 with a max turbo boost to 3.6 on select cores

Ahh makes sense thank you very much for the explanation. Was worried as I didn't change any setting yet lol
