Asrock fm2a75 pro+4 bios. Installing windows 7, with it on a bootable 2.0 usb drive (compatible) it says to reboot and select proper boot device. Tried win 7 disc and same thing appears. Earlier said no HDD detected but I checked boot menu and it is detected.

With bios disc in and bootable flash drive in, It asks me to generate the ahci/raid disktte for windows xp /xp64.

Neither work.

with your pc off, attached the usb2 boot media. Power and and be ready to press the f-key that corresponds to "Select Boot Device". Press it
Your motherbd uses UEFI, you have to install windows with the UEFI install method.
when you see the message at the bottom of the screen. Now select the option that matches your media that has UEFI in front of it.
ex: UEFI USB Flash Drive 4Gb

The rest of the install will proceed the same as the normal (nonUEFI) install of windows.

Going to try this. I'll let you know if it works (pc is a friends) Will update when I tried.

Update: When I select UEFI: *flash drive* 32GB screen just flashes a quick black and pulls those boot options up again.

tried sata controllers in both AHCI and IDE mode.
