Hoping to crowd source a solution to an issue that's now come up twice on my new build with the ASRock FM2A88X-ITX board at the center of the issues. (using an A10 7700K)

Essentially, I've built this system up twice now and seen the same issue come up on both the original board and on the replacement when I exchanged. After a few days of tinkering around with the build, each time my board not longer recognizes either the pre-installed Mini-PCI wifi adapter or my GPU (Pulled from a working unit).

Everything else seems to operate just fine. No stability issues or slow downs. For now though, that means I'm stuck without Wifi and without the ability to use a discrete GPU.

The only thing that I can possibly think of other than having two defective boards is that I re-used an old PSU (still 750W though) that I pulled from a working build.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm hoping to avoid a second round of returns / exchange.

PSU: OCZ FirePower ModXStream Pro 700MXSP 700W (old unit but no issues in previous build it was pulled from)
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
GPU: SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon HD 5750 (Plan to replace eventually; issue occurred with Mini-PCI regardless of this present)
Case: Corsair Obsidian 250D

The idea here was to get as cheap a stable build as possible and upgrade components as deals popped up.

Yes but I suppose that could just as easily be a weak link too. I might see if I can try a new PSU to verify that the board is truly toast.

The odd part of it was that the issue was so clearly isolated to those two inputs in both builds which makes me hope it was the power and not a fried board.

Wanted to report that things are up and running for the past few days without issue. Not sure if the power supply was an issue or something else. I was able to throw the new board and power supply in and the system works just fine now.
