Hello Guys,

i need a little help. My brother have a old PC what he using to playing WoW. This PC have this config:
Asrock G41C-GS
2GB Apacer DDR3 RAM
Pentium Dual-Core E6500

Now he buyed 2*4GB Samsung M378B5273EB0-CK0 Ram and get from a friend a Core 2 Duo E8400(it was a gift). I installed for him, but i run into a problem. This motherboard have a FSB jumper for stock speed and for 1333 Ram/CPU. Now the problem: The PC wont POST when the jumper set to 2-3(this is the 1333), only when the jumper set to 1-2, but in this mode only 1066MHZ ram speed.
The old config was a slightly OCd by myself(295FSB) and there was no problem.

Thanks for help guys(and sorry for my bad english, not my native language)

1. That was my first thing to do
2. Yes i tried, not working, but the old Apacer DDR3 working with 1333mhz with the E8400.

Are you sure the new Samsung RAM is 1333MHz? Try checking the RAM in CPU-Z

Who talked about mixing RAM? I just said : the old Apacer ram can run 1333, but the new 2*4gb ram can't. But yes the old and the new Rams is two-sided, that's why I choose this, because g41 chipset have very bad ram support.

Try booting into your BIOS and setting the memory timings manually. The 3rd image with "SPD > Timings Table" shows the timings and latency for your RAM. Try entering 667MHz yourself, and if it does not work, just clear the CMOS and reboot.

Thats the problem, when the FSB jumper set to 1333mhz for RAM/CPU, then the PC turn on, but nothing . I hear the ventilators working. But I can't see the Post screen .
I can try this later this day:
- in bios set Ram from Auto to 1066mhz
- switch fsb jumper to 1333mhz
- then try to boot

I tried this, not working. I tried again clear bios, not working. And i can set the memory timings, but thats the problem, when jumper 1-2 then i have: 800-1066 MHZ, when the jumper 2-3, the pc wont post. In my friend PC the RAMs working on 1600MHZ.
