My AsRock H110M DGS says it supports 7.1 but i cant make Logitek 506Z Run 5.1!!
I've installed latest drivers from Realtek i set to 5.1 in the driver program. But i can only run 4 speakers - Front and Rear! Buffer is quiet, center one too ! I have 3 things to plug in Green Black and Pink. Mobo has Green Blue and Pink(Microphone) ??? What do I do ?

Edit: I can almost swear i made em ALL work, the first time(a month ago then i gave up) not sure if it was not just stereo tho but i am certain all spearkers worked and somehow they stopped. Voice stopped coming out of the center speaker and i was wondering why people dont speak in games

You need to go into both windows and you audio control panel (likely realtek) and set it to 5.1.

Consult the logitech and possibly motherboard manual. You will use the green for the fronts, the rears will either go into your mic or line in port, adn the pink will be the other one.

I used the speakers before with a mobo that had a place for the black one to go. But i dont really know where to put all the things now.. i tried different combos including using the front panel in my PC. The MOBO says
-7.1 CH HD Audio (Realtek ALC887 Audio Codec), ELNA Audio Caps
-To configure 7.1 CH HD Audio, it is required to use an HD front panel audio module and enable the multi-channel audio feature through the audio driver.

Port Function
Light Blue (Rear panel):Rear Speaker Out
Lime (Rear panel);Front Speaker Out
Pink (Rear panel):Central /Subwoofer Speaker Out

In short: when you turn 5.1 on, the Mic in line changes to Central/Sub out. If you need microphone, you have to use the front panel port.

It is not working Center and Subwoofer not working

Maybe bad cable? Check with different cable.
Or Pink port does not work? Switch from 5.1 to stereo, connect microphone to pink port and check if it works.
Or the speakers not working? Check them with another comp.

Okay! SOMEHOW i made it ALL WORK again. I have 0 idea how...

-I installed a driver or a codec named Realtek ALC887 Audio Codec - nothing happened i coundn't even change the option for it NOT to be stereo.
-INstalled the sound driver from the AsRock site - Works.

Strange thing is that i installed it the first time and probably then it worked, then i went to Realtek to download the latest and it was not working ever since... why would a newer driver be worse? And whats even more why when i installed the ALC887 as MOBO manual says i couldn't even do shit with my speakers.
Well.. lets just hope shit will stay together and i wont update the driver anymore
