Hey,
I just purchased a ASRock H110M-HDV Motherboard and an Intel i5-7600K CPU, and apparently I need to update the Bios in order to run it. Im not sure how to do this or if I need to, so any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
H1110, Z170, and B150 mobos need a BIOS update for a Kaby Lake

You need BIOS 7.10 to support that CPU

1151 Core i5 i5-7600K(B0) Kaby Lake 3.8GHz BCLK 100MHz 6MB 91W P7.10

There maybe a sticker on the mobo. If the numbers on it are under 7.10 then it needs a BIOS update

But the only way you can do it, is above

You may need to update it, you may not if the motherboard was made after the bios update. If you find it doesn't work, it's likely the mobo needs a bios update which can only be done using a Skylake chip.

Cheers for the quick response,
how would I find out whether or not the motherboard was made after the bios update and what version I would need to update it to?
