[SOLVED] Asrock H110M-ITX/ac clear cmos

I'm currently switching from an i3-6100 to a i3-9100f. I put in the 9100 and proceeded to turn on the pc and it started for 5 seconds and turned off. I looked into the problem and it said I needed to clear the cmos which I did and I still had the same problem. So the other option was to update the bios by putting back in the i36100 which I have now done and the computer powers on fine the fans spin on gpu and cpu but now the monitor is saying no display detected I have tried plugging in the hdmi to the motherboard and that also didn't work. Also tried re stating the GPU. I dont know what to do at this point and any help is appreciated.

Your problem is that the motherboard doesn't support the CPU - https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-ITXac/#CPU

You need to buy a new motherboard if you want to use the i3 9100F.

This has absolutely nothing to do with clearing the CMOS.

H110 Chipset motherboards support Intel 6th and 7th Gen CPUs. The i3-9100f does not work in that motherboard.

Ok well the cpu I can return but now the problem is I have the old cpu in and the display is not working
