Asrock H170A-X1 multiple GPU Nvidia SLI

Hi,

does this MoBo support 2 Nvidia GPU's? Instructions say it "can support multiple graphics cards via AMD CrossFire". But what about Nvidia SLI?

No it does not. the second pci-e slot only runs at 4x and Nvidia has to run on a minimum of 8x for sli. AMD on the other hand can run on 4x for Crossfire.

Does it mean I can't fit in 2 Nvidia GPU's? I need CUDA for my softwares, so if my understanding is correct AMD is disqualified...
