Hello,
I have an ASRock H77M motherboard that has worked perfectly for the last two years. Now, all of a sudden when I start the machine cold the BIOS POST pauses for exactly 5 minutes after the first two lines of display (the BIOS date) and then continues on and works perfectly. This delay does not occur if the machine has been on for an hour or more but does occur when it's cold. I've replaced the battery and reset the CMOS to no avail. I've tried to update the BIOS (currently at P1.20) but so far I haven't been able to get any of ASRock's recommended update procedures to work. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ray
