Hello! I am building my first computer.
I am about to buy online CPU+RAM+motherboard. I found a seller who sells
CPU: i3-4170 (3.7)
RAM: 2x4GB kingston
motherboard: ASRock H81M-HDS and ECS H81H3-M4

Now which motherboard is better? Or they are both not that good, and I should consider something else?
Total price 295$

I want to buy something which will live for some years.

As for PSU i have 2 of them:

I bought my first PC in FEB 2005 and it ASRock modo died in 2008 or so. Then i got a used pc and some other used parts (including here a PSU&ECS mobo).

These parts are still working.its important to notice here that i havent been using them too much. Now (the other motherboard which is in my old case) is used mostly for internet and solitare 😛
While as you can see this case is big enough...i think

So that has been my exp with PC. Also i need to buy a HDD since the old one 40GB is too less and doesnt even fit to new motherboards.

Solution
I would recommend staying clear of ECS at that price class. My experience with 2 of the 3 ECS boards I've owned has been less than satisfactory. They both failed with having given them NO abuse. Asrock is the better quality, imo.

I don't see any PSUs listed in your post.
1TB is pretty much the accepted minimum today. And the price difference between 500GB and 1TB isn't very much.

Well now you can see link of pictures in the first post. I have been using

The last 4 pins on a 24 pin ATX cable are redundant +12v, +3V, +5.5V, and ground. They were added to carry the extra current associated with newer boards.

While the old PSU with its 20 pin cable will work in the 24 pin header of a newer board, I'd suggest saving for a new PSU as well. Since you won't be demanding a heavy +12V load in your system, you can get a decent PSU for less than $40

Thx for advice. I have been looking all these days and I actually have only HKC v-power 450/550/650 available to buy, or some here but they are expensive http://pcstore.com.al/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=270
Or I may buy for about 53Euro an antec ea380/480 from amazon, which still is a few expensive (about 65$).

There are not other PSU available here and those from ebay have some huge cost for shipping.

So are good enough HKC v powers?

I'm not familiar with HKC PSUs. Never heard of them here in the US. But the smallest 450W in your link should be sufficient for your system. Actually, as long as you don't add a discrete gfx card in the future, you can probably get away with the PSU you have now.

Thx for answering clutch. I decided for Antec VP450 as PSU.
Now I am reconsidering motherboard:
What about Asus H81M-C??? Is it better then ASrock h81m-hds?
Reason that I am considering is that i can buy it in my country, while if i go for asrock I will need to pay some more money for shipping in ebay.

You will rarely go wrong with an Asus board. They are generally considered the top or one of the top boards.
