Asrock motherboard stuck on boost

Hi I hope I'm in the right category wasn't sure which one to put it in anyway.
My system is a
Asrock fm2a75 pro4 m
Amd athlon x4 750k quad core
Saphire hd 7870
8gb of ram
My problem is my x boost won't turn of normally if i press x when it starts up it will either turn on/off but since i have had new parts put in its stuck on boost I'm just worried as my pc is on most the time my pc will over heat or cause something to break is there a way to turn x boost off or will my pc be fine staying in boost mode any help/advice would be great

reset bios by taking out cmos, do this after you unpluggeg your power cord from outlet
