Asrock n68 vs3 fx Graphics Problem

Hi Everone

Im doing a cheap build from a friend the spec are below . Il set it all up but nothing is showing on the screen at all. I didnt think that this setup would need a graphics card or am i wrong ? if it dont need a graphics card then what eles could the problem be

19" HTC screen
Galaxy 3 gaming case
Asrock n68 vs3 fx motherboard
fx 4130 cpu
4 gb drr 3 ram
1tb hdd

The MB can only support up to 95W cpu, and the fx4130 has the 125W TDP. So they are not compatible that why nothing shows up. You can return the fx4130 and buy fx4300.

ok thanks for pointing that out . I think i will change the motherboard to Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

Have you tried this board and Would i need a external graphics card with this board ?

It is OK, I don't use it, I don't have any AMD system, if you want to use it for games, yes, you need one.

ok what if i didnt wont it for gaming just surfing the net. would i still need a graphics card with these motherboard and cpu .

then if i did wont it for gaming do you know what the cheapest spec card that will work ok, ive been looking at these

If you don't for the games and only surfing the net, then you only need the onboard ATI Radeon HD 3000 graphics (DirectX10).

If you want to buy the cards in your list, 1) hd4870x2 is the best, but make sure you have the 600-650W PSU for the hd4870x2. http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-4000/hd-4870/Pages/ati-radeon-hd-4870-system-requirements.aspx 2) for other GPUs, you only need 300W PSU, I put them in the order from better to worst: hd6450, gt520, hd5450, gt210.
