I just bought Asrock Phantom Gaming 4 ---i5 9600k---Gskill Trident Z 3200 ram. When the bios chooses 3200 for ram speed the system will freeze---but if I choose 2600 or 2666 it runs great.
Not sure how to fix this --ram is 3200.
Do I need to tell bios to have more power to ram ??
If so how is this done ?
Thanks in advance for your help

Solution
Use the XMP profile and make sure to manually set the memory voltage to the required amount...typically 1.35v but look at your memory info to be sure
