ASROCK SKT-1155 P67 EXTREME4 REV 3.0 S/L USB 3.0 not working?

Hi there

I've got the above mobo and I've just bought a WD external HDD that's supposed to be USB 3.0, and so is my mobo.

However I'm only getting 67MB/s... I've tried different USB 3.0 ports, none any faster.

I also have ASRock XFast USB which loads but feels a bit dodgy..

Anyone with similar exp or solutions?

Are the usb3 drivers installed?
Which external drive is this? Usb3 will only go as fast as the slowest device in the "chain".
What are the rest of your systems components.

Graphics card:
RADEON HD 6950 2GB PCI-E 2GB GDDR5 880MHZ £223

USB Controller:
Etron USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller (2x)
Etron USB 3.0 Extensible Root Hub (2x)

tried the external hdd on usb 2.0 drives and same speed.
