Question asrock steel legend b550m and m.2

I'm very new so take it easy lol
I have the Asrock steel series b550m motherboard with the ryzen 7 5800x3d and 32 gb corsair vengeance ram
The question is that i bought an sasung 980 pro m.2 and cant find it in the bios
could some one help with this
im not very computer savy but love having a go

If you have correctly put the disk in its place, you will only have it, you will start from the bios, you will configure it from the option that gives you in the bios and you will go out to spend the win

Can you show a photo, how you have installed M.2 drive?

Note. M2_2 and SATA3_5_6 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the other one will be disabled.

So if you have any sata drives (HDD or SSD), then you can not use SATA ports SATA3_5, SATA3_6 and
M.2 slot M2_2 simultaneously.
Move your HDD/SSD to a different SATA port.

BTW - you should not use 980 pro in M2_2 slot.
M2_2 slot operates in PCIE 3.0 x2 mode (four times less bandwidth, than 980 pro is capable).
For full performance place 980 pro in M2_1 slot instead.
That is full PCIE 4.0 x4 slot.
