I know I am in the past here, but it works fine on biz system...Is there a more direct to chipset or CPU m.2 slot? I have seen some reviews of newer motherboards where the slot closest to CPU is considered more direct. Since I have system apart and am installing more storage, I am curious if I should move boot NvME drive to slot 1?
Thank you for taking time to read my question, Larry T.

Can you please include the make and model of the storage drives you're working with? Could you also state which slots the drives are populating? If you take the SATA ports out of the equation, the maximum the M.2 slots with an NVMe drive will be operating at will be Gen3 x4.
