News ASRock unveils a gauntlet of Arrow Lake-compatible motherboards, including a new Taichi variant with CAMM2 memory

Thank you for this detailed report. Can you confirm if Thunderbolt 5 support is available for the new Arrow Lake motherboards that you reviewed?

Arrow Lake-S Z890 desktop motherboards will natively support Thunderbolt 4. Support for version 5 is NOT there.

The above displayed ASRock mobos are actually the upcoming Z890 models ( at least the flagship parts, if not others).

Is there a point in paying double for lpcamm2 memory?
It's cutting edge so it's expensive. For early adopters it's probably worth it.

Also, all these mentions of phases but amperes are rarely mentioned.

Not that overclocking is so terribly useful today, but apparently motherboard manufacturers haven't got that memo yet...
