Choice 1:
ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 AMD Motherboard ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131651)

VS

Choice 2:
ASRock 870 EXTREME3 ATX AMD Motherboard ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157198 )

Feedback thoughts?

This is for an AMD Build...the other parts would be...

CPU = Phenom II x4 955
RAM = 4GB (2x2GB) G.SKILL
GPU = EVGA GTX 460 1GB
PSU = Corsair 650W 80plus

Not really planning on overclocking...maybe a little in the future to get a little more out of it in the long run

A say go with the ASRock. The 870 Extreme allows for 8x/8x crossfire while the ASUS does not. Of course, that doesn't matter if your going with a GTX460 as you cannot SLI on that board. If you're new to system building though then the ASUS may be a bit more friendly to you ^_^, but personally I think the ASRock is a better value.

It's been a while since I've built a machine, but yes...I chose the GTX460 knowing that I can't use SLI on the board.

I am aware ASRock is the "value" version of ASUS, but just curious if anyone has experience w/ thier Mobo's in regards to reliability and quality.

Also motherboards have ram specs that i'm not quite familiar w/. For Example:

RAM: DDR3 1333/1600(OC)

In this example, does that mean I can over clock RAM only if it is at 1600?
