I have read about lots of issues with RAM in the BIOS updates for some ASRock mobos. The problem is that I can’t find a current solution to RAM speed not working in XMP mode for the x370 Taichi. I built my brother’s PC over the weekend, but I didn’t have time to mess with the BIOS. He sent me a picture of the BIOS and it says the RAM is only at 2400Mhz instead of the stock 3200Mhz. I never thought it would be an issue, as it looked like the BIOS version was fully updated at v4.70. The ASRock BIOS update page is a bit confusing though.

So my questions would be:

1. Does anyone have an ASRock x370 Taichi with RAM working at the stock speed? If so, which BIOS version are you using?

2. Do you do anything differently to go back to older versions of the BIOS? I just don’t want to brick the thing.
