[SOLVED] Asrock X570M Pro4 vs B450m Steel Legend

So i have a choice. x570 200 Eur and the b450m Steel Legend which is 100 eur. I have a 1060 6gb and ryzen 5 3600. Is there any reason for me to go to the x570? Is the x570 more future-proof?

If you feel like you will have high speed memory and later on even PCIe4.0 cards, why not.
The X570 seems to handle better higher rated memory speeds, so all depends on your needs.

If the B450 is old stock might it not have the necessary bios to support the Ryzen 3600 so make sure you get a board with a recent enough bios.

It says rhat it supports up to ryzen 9n3900

With a later bios yes. But not with the original one (or even one or two later). Just saying make sure it has a bios on it that supports the cpu.

With that could you indeed update the bios if necessary so will the 3600 also be fine to purchase.

Which motherboard do you have now? Guess you have one since having the previous gen Ryzen. maybe just update the bios on that and test before upgrading the motherboard as well,depending on the quality of it ....
