asrock x79 extreme 11 motherbord audio

On the Asrock website it said that the Asrock x79 extreme11 motherboard has 7.1 on-board HD audio. but it appears in the picture that it only has 5.1 audio. I am planing to use this with my Razer Tiamat 7.1 and I would like someone to clarify that the motherboard has got 7.1 audio so I don't have to get a sound card.

yes it does support 7.1 the blue input port also doubles up as an output for the centre channels.

you are my new best friend. you have save me so much time and stressing. the motherboard was perfect for me except for the audio. but now that i know that i will continue to save up for the motherboard
