Hi Guys,

So recently I was updating a program called Steam on my computer, and it required for my PC to be rebooted; once it rebooted, it did not show any image on the screen, it was just plain black.
I then decided to restart it myself (manually), however the same problem happened.

I then realized that my motherboard was giving me a Dr. Debug (red code) for d6 and then it changed right away to b0 or 60 (can't tell but I think its a "b" instead of a "6")... and stays there, without showing any image. All the fans are on, and it does not give me any beeping at all.

I remember in the past it would beep if any type of problem happened (such as the VGA not being recognized, it would beep 5 times)

I made sure all the cables are properly plugged in... I tried to boot it with one RAM at a time with every DIMM slot, however still no image. I cleaned the VGA Card, PSU, CPU and put Thermal Paste again, and nothing...

The same red code "b0" (which stands for DXE Core is Started) stays there and nothing happens, it just acts like its booting but does not show me any image 🙁

I've had this rig for 3 years now, and this is very bizarre.
Is there anything I could try to do? Or what do you guys think could be the issue? :/

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I tried this already, on the A1, B1, C1 and D1 slots, one at a time, each and every one of the RAMs that I got >< but it's still doing the same thing.

I don't think all 4 rams got messed up lol could it be the slots?

You could always remove the CPU and inspect the socket for bent pins.....

Hi Calvin,

I have never ran the memory at anything besides auto, in the past 3 years haven't messed around the settings of them.

I edited the thread, it was 4 rams of 4GB each lol sorry.

Hi sykozis,

I checked the CPU, looks just fine to me :/

It's possible that running the memory at 1.65V has caused damage to the memory controller. JEDEC specified DDR3 memory voltage is 1.5V. While the 0.15V difference shouldn't cause damage, there is no guarantee that it won't or didn't.

Hi! Thanks for your reply :)

So I decided to bring it to a repair center for them to check it out, and it turned to be the MoBo, when i brought it there the PC was not even turning on lol D: they tried to repair it and also cleaned it but had no luck :l

I guess I need to purchase a new one... does anybody have an idea of which one I should get based on my specs on the first post? One similar to my previous one and that would last me a while? Or maybe a better one for a decent price?
