Asrock X99 Extreme 4 SLI / Card Size + Location??

I currently have an Asrock x99 Extreme 4 Mobo with x1 EVGA GTX 970 FTW card in the first (top) slot.

I want to add a second in SLI. Two questions:

1) Is there enough room to SLI x2 GTX 970 FTWs AND still fit a Sound Creative Sound Blaster Zx in the PCE 2.0 x1 slot without crushing the cables along the bottom row or making them inaccessible?

2) Do I need to put it in the 3rd slot (the next PCE 3.0 slot down) or can I skip it and use the bottom one (5th slot)

1) Yes, there is enough room for 2X970
2) You can plug it on any slot. All will work.
