I am currently in the process of building a new computer and the bios will intermittently find the hard drive that i am trying to install windows 10 on. I have switched out the sata cables 3 times and changed the power cable to the drive twice. The UEFI will occasionally show the sata drive, but only as 4gb not the 3tb it should be. I have changed the port that the Sata cable is plugged into from 0-5 with no changes other than the drive is not recognized at all in 4-5.
It has been years since I last built a computer and the parts have evolved a lot, so I am a little lost as to what could be the cause.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Erik
