Hi
I have an asrock z270 gaming k6 board now and its coming up with a bunch of errors and they stop at A2, related to pcie slots. The recommeded fix is to reseat the pcie slots and reset cmos.
Done that. Didnt work.
Ive tried all combinations of components as well as just the cpu on its own. Wont work. Sometimes it takes longer to get to the A2 error but thats the only difference.
Ive exhanged the motherboard once and dont think thats the issue. A new cpu should arrive in a few days but I thought I'd you guys first what the problem could be.
Here is a quick video of the error codes:

Parts:
intel i7 7700k
asrock z270 gaming k6
samsung 960 evo ssd
2tb firecuda sshd
gskillz ram ddr4 3200

Thanks in advance everyone

I figured it out, well not me exactly. It turns out that the A2 error can also happen if a boot disk is not detected, rather than only sata connections. As I thought that it had to POST properly and that this meant there should be no error code, I never connected a screen, so I couldnt see that I had access to UEFI all along
