Question ASROCK Z370 Extreme4 and Intel i7 9th Gen

Hello,

quick question... I have ordered brand new Z730 Extreme4 ... Will it support my 9th gen processor out of the box or I will have to update BIOS?

As I can see, by default this MBO supports only up to 8th Gen... but BIOS upgrade also enabled 9th Gen. This BIOS update was released long time ago... so I am not sure will it be "preinstalled" on my MBO?

In the event that the latest BIOS version is not up to date on the MOBO out of the box, you will need to flash your MOBO with the lastest version. The link I provided below will help you make a USB stick that you can then use to flash your MOBO with.
